CanRep Inc. is a well-established Aerospace components distributor and an approved Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) aircraft component repair and overhaul facility in Mirabel’s area.
Job Description
The position offered is for its maintenance and repair activities.
The successful candidate will perform tasks with the minimum of supervision in the areas of:
- Tear Down and Cleaning of components and preparation of Inspection reports after performing measurements of sub components/parts, tests against acceptability criteria, determining parts that require replacement, outside testing and/or services.
- Reassembly of components according to applicable Component Maintenance Manual or shop procedures manual and conduct the applicable inspections, tests and functional tests. Reassembly of Components includes but is not limited to: painting, re-surfacing, soldering, wiring, repairs, adjustments and assembly operations.
- Verify of all paper work associated with the assembly and the traceability of parts used in the component assembly. Ensure that all data associated with measurements, testing, functional test and inspections is recorded on the work order or applicable accompanying documents.
- Participate or lead in the development of repair techniques or processes to enhance productivity.
Desired Skills
You are a graduate of an Aeronautical Educational Institute and/or have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in component repair and overhaul. You are a team player with strong initiative to develop lean techniques and share experience. You have a positive attitude, communicate effectively and enjoy being a member of a strong team.
You must be suitable for acceptance under the requirements of the Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (http://www.cgd.gc.ca/cgdweb/text/index_e.htm) and be willing to work in a drug-free environment.
Successful candidates will have their own personal tools while CanRep will provide special tooling. Relocation expenses are not part of this offer of employment.
